How We Help

There are many aspects of our life where we want to feel happier or more skillful.  Our romantic relationships can often be one of the areas that we would like to get support with. Our practice is dedicated to working with all couples, including those who are married, engaged, dating, polyamorous, or Queer.  We incorporate methods of DBT for Couples with the Gottman Method to increase effective communication, develop middle-path solutions to help your relationship progress forward, and resolve past conflicts that impact the quality of the relationship you are hoping for.

All forms of relationships have their challenges and concerns.  Signs that often show it may be time to seek couples therapy may be increased feelings of criticism, breakdowns in communication, contemplation of separation, and increased intensity or frequency of conflict. When all members of the relationship are willing to work toward mutual goals, couples therapy can help us learn to get our wants and needs met, express love effectively, and have the relationship that we want to work toward.

If you’re looking for help in improving your romantic relationship—you would be a great fit for our couples therapy services. Please reach out to us today for an assessment for couples therapy or to schedule your first appointment.
